Potentialet er bl.a. stort inden for byggeindustrien. |

Välinge Photocatalytic AB (VPAB), a joint venture between Välinge Innovation AB of Sweden and Photocat AS of Denmark, has signed an exclusive license agreement with Lauzon Hardwood Flooring Group of Canada consisting of Lauzon Distinctive Hardwood Flooring Inc. and Parquets Dubeau Ltd. The license agreement gives Lauzon the exclusive manufacturing rights in Canada of their hardwood flooring using the VPAB photocatalytic process technology named ACTiO2 as well as a non-exclusive right to sell these products worldwide.
The Lauzon Hardwood Group will incorporate the ACTiO2 process in the manufacture of premium hardwood flooring. Lauzon’s flooring will reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as formaldehyde in the home and will fight the spread of bacteria. The ACTiO2 will be embedded in Lauzon’s already inventive Titanium Finish and will remain active for the life of this proprietary surface coating.
In addition to the License Agreement, the Lauzon Group has signed a Supply Agreement with Photocat AS to secure the highest quality and delivery of the ACTiO2 formulation.
“Lauzon is the world’s first hardwood manufacturer to secure a license for ACTiO2. We are excited to work with a flooring company that is known for outstanding quality and innovative leadership”, said Michael Humle, CEO of Photocat AS.
“The Lauzon Group will market their hardwood flooring products with ACTiO2 in select international markets. The benefits of this product respond to world-wide concerns surrounding indoor air quality. We believe this groundbreaking product combination has the potential to re-write the rules of the flooring industry.”, said Niclas Hakansson President of Välinge Innovation AB and VPAB.
"Lauzon is very pleased to partner with Valinge Photocat and launch this remarkable innovation in photocatalytic technology. We will be the sole Canadian manufacturer of hardwood flooring to harness this proprietary technology. We are proud of the fact we will help create healthier indoor environments in homes across the world.” ,said David Lauzon President of the Lauzon Hardwood Flooring Group.
“This outstanding addition to our stable of product innovations is a perfect fit for our company. It is the result of the pursuit of our never ending goal of “creating a beautiful enduring customer flooring experience”", stated David Lauzon.

This year again Photocat organization started the year the most important event in the European flooring industry. Domotex www.domotex.de was visited by more than 40.000 visitors from around the world and more than 1.000 exhibitors made it worthwhile to go to the exhibition.
Photocat exhibited its patent protected ACTiO2 technology from the partner Välinge booth in Hall 9. We were excited with the interest and found it promising that so many manufacturers are now actively interested in photocatalytic floors.
Photocat was also pleased to see our very professional partner show dedication to our jointly developed new flooring technology.
Further it was a strong experience to see the customer reaction to the astonishing effective technology, when confronted with solid data.
CSO Henrik Jensen said “It is always a key moment to discuss newly developed technology with the real users and sense their true interest. This is the kind of moments that we work a whole year to get”

The floor installed in June 2010 mentioned on this homepage, was now launched commercially at the first ever private Expo held at the Valinge International Headquarter in Viken Sweden.
Välinge the first licensee to the Photocat developed photocatalytic flooring technology exhibited the technology to its 130 invited guests primarily from the existing licensee base of Valinge, the flooring press and project developers.
Photocat was present showing solid wood floors, laminate floors, and naturally Välinge Nadura floor. Both Henrik Jensen and Theis Reenberg were taking the chance to talk to flooring people from many of the leading floor manufacturers and were chilled with the strong interest in Photocat flooring offer. There was no doubt that this technology is a future technology. Photocat was also very pleased to be mentioned and reviewed as world leaders in its field by Välinge founder Darko Pervan.
There is absolutely no doubt that Darko Pervan has been and continues to be one of if not the most influential innovator of the whole flooring business.
Photocat is pleased with the discussions and exposure of this private exhibition and feels that it is a good supplement to the major exhibitions Domotex, Surfaces and Bau.
Photocat also looks forward to Välinges successful marketing of the ACTiO2 floor in its Nadura flooring concept.
Henrik Jensen, CSO said. ”These Exhibitions are a unique chance for a technology responsible person to get primary feedback on new ideas and inspiration from key customers.”
